TRY THE NEW 9 HOLES COURSE I VESTERLYKKEN

The Disc Golf course in Vesterlykken near Pillemark was built in 2024 by Samsø Disc Golf Club in cooperation and support from Samsø Municipality, and donations from Samsø citizens. The course will officially open in autumn 2024.

Special thanks to Søren Gylling Bertelsen and Jens Ove Vadstrup for their support with the new area.

Play as much as you want, and you can borrow the 3 discs you need:

White Sensei - Putter.

Blue Maestro - Midrange.

Pink Magician - Driver.

DISC GOLF RULES

1. Use as few shots as possible from the tee to the basket. Play in groups of a maximum of 5 people.

2. Throw from the marked tee area. There are sticks in the ground that mark the "Tee".

3. Subsequent throws are made with the front foot placed behind the disc that you have just thrown.

4. The hole is finished when you have thrown the disc so that it hangs in the chains or lies in the basket.

5. The course is played through 2 times, So 18 holes in total. The aim is to complete the entire course in the fewest possible number of throws.

6. Each hole on a disc golf course are assigned a "pair", Par 3, meaning you have 3 throws to complete the hole.

DISC GOLF SAFETY

1. NEVER throw! if there is the slightest risk of hitting other people or animals.

2. Respect the track and the surrounding nature and never throw your rubbish and bottles.

3. Wait for other players/groups of the area to be out of range and have passed before throwing.

4. The player in your group farthest from the basket always throws first. Always stand behind the throwing player.

5. If you are forced to throw at a blind angle, send another player forward to make sure there is a clear lane before you throw your throw.

6. Please observe these safety rules, as it is your responsibility to look after and keep an eye on the other players!

The Samsø Disc Golf Course was built, designed and maintained by Mikkel Fogedgaard Madsen & Jesper Budde.

We work 100% voluntarily and all donations will only be used for future improvements to the disc golf course.
